A quiet unassuming individual, deceptively very strong and fast of movement, if it wasn't for the oversized Red Jacket, you wouldn't notice him in an empty room, which has been the detriment of many a foe. Was once a very loyal and trusting friend, but a broken heart has stoped anyone getting close ever again. Well educated, his intellectual prowess is well hidden,and underestimating him will be extremely costly.

Born on "The Sheperds Grace" Tan was raised by his Mother and Aunt, taught an ancient language and way of life, long forgotten even on Old Earth, but very important of his blood line. In his late teens, his Mother was killed during and incident between the gangs, supposedly it was accidental, so seeking retribution "As was the way", he was initiated into the gang Vexillum Belli. His initiation didn't go well, but a young fiery red head took a shine to him, or possibly his intelligence, she taught him the ways of the gang and to fight with his smarts. His intellect and teachings from his Mother and Aunt proved very usefull to a young Rune Harrow, especially his ability to be unseen. After the ship arrived in the Epsilon Eridani, and the disposal of the other gangs aboard "The Sheperds Grace", Tan divulged his true feelings for Rune, unfortunately instead of being reciprocated, she mocked and ridiculed him in front of members of the gang. Tan quickly and quietly slipped away unseen, just as he had done so many times in service of Rune, and if the rumors were true, his being unseen would be her last.
