Ark Twelve, the Rustborn, and the Sol Remnant form the Continuity Compact. They defend one another and maintain shared reserves of seed, repair knowledge, and surviving records while each keeps custody of its own holdings.
Charter
Ark Twelve survived the Breaking with fewer than five hundred people.
The Rustborn kept the Stalwart alive for nearly ninety years.
The Sol Remnant carried Earth's records across the dark.
Each knows what one lost ship can take with it.
We keep our holdings in our own hands and their survival in common.
Common Ground
- Survival takes preparation. Seed, working machinery, and records must endure beyond any one settlement.
- Custody stays local. Each member guards what its people carried and built.
- Skill deserves respect. Medicine, repair, and archival work keep people alive.
- Independence matters. No member's future should depend on either major power.
Common Goals
- Defend every member. Meet an attack on one with the strength of all.
- Maintain protected reserves. Pool access to seed, repair knowledge, and surviving records so one blockade cannot erase them.
- Keep essential work alive. Support cultivation, maintenance, and the preservation of records across settlements.
- Protect independent custody. Keep the reserve beyond the control of DAED or CHRT.
Articles
- No member raises arms against another.
- An attack on one member is an attack on all.
- Each member retains custody of its seed, equipment, archives, and records. The Compact grants no right to seize or demand them.
- Members agree on what they place in the common reserve and how the others may draw upon it. A blockade must not leave any member without access to that reserve.
- Access to Twelvehold, the Yard, New Geneva, and any member's holdings requires that member's consent. Visitors observe its quarantine, safety, and handling rules.
- Discovery does not give a member title to another member's wreck or its contents. Recovery and salvage require agreement with the member concerned.
- No member must surrender private medical records, the Continuity Ledger, or the Sol Archive to meet a request for copies. Members settle disputes over access and salvage before acting against one another.
